“Study is not the goal, doing is.” – Wisdom of Rabbi ben Gamliel

Salaam and Greetings of Peace:

❝I grew up among the Sages. All my life I listened to their words. Yet I have found nothing better than silence. Study is not the goal, doing is. Do not mistake ‘talk’ for ‘action’: Pity fills no stomach. Compassion builds no house. Understanding is not yet justice. Whoever multiplies words causes confusion. The truth that can be spoken is not the ultimate Truth.❞
― Rabbi Shimon ben Gamliel (d. 70 CE)

Greetings Irving and all your readers all over the world.

It’s so easy to think that our writing and talking is all we need to do. I rate writing and talking very highly, but I also realise that it’s also important to grow in understanding and endeavour to act justly.
It’s so encouraging to know that Our Creator is compassionate, so we honour Him when we show our neighbour compassion.

Can we discover something better than silence? In my opinion we can, for Creator can bless us with wisdom and love and the good news is when He speaks the truth to us, it is always the ultimate truth.
