There is Holiness

There is holiness in each of you
A spark unquenchable

Bursting into flame
At the mere mention

The hint, the possibility
Of love

Where are you flying
O hummingbird

Alight on the rose
Of my heart

Dip your beak, drink
Of love

The guiding principle
Of life

Evolution’s Cause
And goal

The Hidden treasure

The Creator, the One
the All

that seems an inspiration from the Quran… can you quote from where?

  8. Irving says:

Thank you all, dear sisters and brothers, for your kind comments :) And UTP, it is not a quote from the Quran, but a hadith qudsi, “I was a hidden treasure and wanted to be known.” This is the beginning of probably the most famous hadith qudsi, or extra-Qur’anic Word of God, ḥadiṯs-e kanz-e maḵf.

It may, however, refer to the Quran 51:56, in which Allah says, “I created the Jinns and humankind only that they may worship Me,” meaning “that they may know Me” as the Prophet’s (saw) cousin Ibn Abbas explained it.

    Ya Haqq!

Thank you sir… thank you for that reference… you are doing a great job… I was gifted by yourself your e-book, the Master of The Jinn…last year… I am planning to get to read it this year…
