What is left behind when we die

What is left behind when we die
but bone and dust

And kindness given and love

From which other kindnesses
are born

And love expands from us

Each death a gift of love
to the living

Life evolving in spirit as well
as matter

Which is as God intends
after all

Let us share love, and let them expand exponentially. That is how world peace is possible.

    Salaam and Greetings of Peace:

Thank you all for the kind comments :) This poem is actually a further exploration of the previous post, Meditation on Death:

Love indeed lives after us, in those we touched and the kindnesses we have shown; and the recipients of that love and kindness are hopefully also inspired to spread them toward others, and those toward still more others, so that our love and kindness becomes a wave, and lives on after our death, adding to the spiritual evolution of humankind.

    Ya Haqq!
