Thank you for your always poignant comments, Pastor Joseph :)
And William, you're right, and I also wrote a poem to that effect which can be found on the blogroll under My Poetry:

The Language of Love

The language of love has no words
Listen
For God’s sake

The syntax of the heart’s longing
Is silence
Neither noun nor verb nor consonant

Why all this talk then, O Lover?
Sit and wait
Slow the heartbeat, ease the breath

Unless you become thought
Less
There is no room in you for Hu

Poetry is self-indulgence
Words a veil,
Silence, silence, silence

And the Beloved bursts forth
Everywhere
And all is Love

Truly our prayer is for the language of love so that we can become more consistently loving to God's glory! Irving, that's a very beautiful and correct prayer that God's creation needs to hear because God is love.

Interestingly the Holy Bible teaches that the Tower of Babel was a work of disobedient man! In building the Tower of Babel the people desired to make a name for themselves rather than to attempt to glorify God.

Genesis 11

4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.

I've discovered that if we offer God the offering of self exultation God will never accept it and we will find that He can intervene graciously to scatter our attention from our false focus. This causes us to experience confusion but it's the only way for us to start afresh at some future time in the right direction with the right motive of being thankful toward God. God bless you and all your readers.
