Can you document this quote? From a contemporaneous (w/ Crazy Horse) source, or an indigenous source? Also, Crazy Horse always refused to be photographed. It’s terrible to turn Native Americans into convenient new-age projections.
Dear Claudia, I think you might be right. i spent a lot of time looking and could not find this particular quote, which sounds more like Black Elk than Crazy Horse. But I think the picture may be him. Here is a link to quotes and photos, so you can judge for yourself:
