“I leave everything in Your hands…”

Salaam and Greetings of Peace:

You know my soul.  You know all that needs to be done there.  Do it in Your own way.  Draw me to You, O my God.  Fill me with Pure Love of You alone.  Make me never go aside from the way of Your love.  Show me clearly that way and never let me depart from it: that will be enough.  I leave everything in Your hands.  You will guide me without error and without danger and I will love You all the way.  I will belong to You.  I will not be afraid of anything for I shall remain in Your hands and never leave You.

Pure unconditional love for Allah the Most High deters the person from committing sins.

Allah the Most High says :

“He guides those who will (to be guided)”…..(Holy Quran 22:16)

“Those whom Allah willeth to guide,- He openeth their bosom to Islam” ………….. (Holy Quran, Al ‘An’am 6:125)

Regarding guidance, there are some criteria explicitly given in the Holy Quran according to which Allah the Most Highguides. These criteria are given in the following:

Allah guides unto Himself who turns to Him (time after time, time and time again….(Holy Quran42:13)

Allah guides all who seek His approval to ways of peace and safety………………. (Holy Quran 5:16)

Those who believe, and work righteousness, – their Lord will guide them because of their faith ……. (Holy [10:9]

…Allah does not let go people astray except those who themselves depart from the right way (Holy Quran, 2:26)

If you call them to guidance, they will not obey: For you it is the same whether you call them or you hold your peace! ….. (Holy Quran 7/193)

…Allah does not guide those who do not put things in the right perspective………….. (Holy Quran, 3/86)

Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: ‘Mayuhidihila hu fala mudhilala, wa mayudhlil fala haadiyala’ which means “Whomso ever Allah chooses to guide then there is non to misguide such a person, and whomsoever Allah chooses to misguide (due to a perversion in that persons heart) then there is non to guide such a person”

Regarding the perversion of the heart, Allah the Most High mentions:

    10. Woe, that Day, to those who deny [(Allah, His Angels, His Books, His Messengers, the Day of Resurrection, and Al-Qadar (Divine Preordainments)].

    11. Those who deny the Day of Recompense.

    12. And none can deny it except every transgressor beyond bounds, (in disbelief, oppression and disobedience of Allah, the sinner!)

    13. When Our Verses (of the Qur’an) are recited to him he says: “Tales of the ancients!”

    14. Nay! But on their hearts is the Raan (covering of sins and evil deeds) which they used to earn.

(Holy Quran, Surah al mutafifeen, 10:14)

So it is the raan which covers the heart due to the action of the person which causes the heart to be sick and deviates from the truth

Narrated Abu Hurairah (ra): Allah messenger (saw) said:

“When a slave (a person) commits a sin (an evil deed) a black dot is dotted on his heart. Then if that person gives up that evil deed (sin), begs Allah to forgive him, and repents, then his heart is cleared (from that heart covering dot); but if he repeats the evil deed (sin), then that covering increases till the heart is completely coevered with it”
