Rumi on Love

When I am in love, I am ashamed of all
I have ever said about love.
Although a commentary in words makes things clear,
wordless love in yet clearer and more illuminating…
Like the pen that was busily writing
until it came to love, and then split apart.

Yes, and I love the wordless love of ordinary days, breathing in and out. Just wonderful. Thank you.
