Believe not in astrologers
Who tell fortunes by the stars
Nor in dark-eyed women in black silk robes
Who turn the Tarot cards
Believe not in the witch's curse
Nor in sorcery of any kind
The shaman seeks to steal your purse
And the voodoo man to steal your mind
Believe not in Satanic spell
Seek not solace in the Gypsy's ball
Planets will not the future tell
Nor black magicks one lost soul recall
Believe instead in Love, my friend
For by its harmony the world endures
Without certainty, perhaps, yet without end
As proof, the moon ensures
Believe in courage and desire
Leave the mystery in life, my love
Be gladly warmed by mortal fire
Embrace the eagle and the dove
For this I know by my heart's blood
What we may be may not be told
Yet each of us, though born apart
May each the others heart enfold
Before this crystal truth, let each spirit, naked, stand
That human hope and laughter are bought with human tears
Yet we may walk in starlight, hand in hand
And live, and love, and have no fear

“Believe instead in Love, my friend
For by its harmony the world endures”
So very true and so beautifully expressed!
This is a poem that heals the world, if only we would listen to its words.

Inshallah one day in Islam might we undo the wrong acts committed within descriptions of star gazing, cleansing the heart, and reading the signs of Allah’s work!
My indigenous culture is not yet up to having defamed the shamanic way, did never doubt that only in Allah might any card or book or sign be read, and will never abuse the worth of receiving emminations from stars by correlating with modern astrology’s madnesses. Yet I fear that we are yet to learn the language in English we might need for describing our reality. My way in Juda is a crocodile Dreamer, a goanna, a thorny devil, but in the body of a red bellied black snake. (better look up the natural history references than to rely upon superstition)

belief instead in the creator of the astologers.
The astrologers told of the Birth of Moses,
but it was to no avial.
The magicians all bowed to God
and the sea parted its ways.
God is doer, and we are ‘done to.’
Beautiful words Respected bro..truly inspiring.

Masallah! Thanks dear brother. You have spoken the truth soo beautifully . We should remember this and have to know what is black and what is white.
